Pick up some good vibrations this summer along the banks of the Mississippi River in downtown Alton when the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheather Summer Concert and Events season kicks off.

With the riverfront as a backdrop, the sounds of summer from Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Beach Boys, and other high energy regional bands will be bouncing off the Mississippi River and up and down the riverfront.

So spread a blanket, bring a lawn chair or enjoy a VIP experience at a variety of outdoor concerts and festivals listed here!

An Evening With the Beach Boys: July 29

Good vibrations will be sliding all along the Alton riverfront when the original Boys of Summer take the stage at the LIberty Bank Alton Amphitheater Sunday, July 29. There will be "Fun, Fun, Fun" with the "Rock and Roll Music" of Mike Love, Bruce Johnston and the rest of the Beach Boys. Enjoy the "Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of The Beach Boys" with their 30-track collection of the band's biggest hits.

Bikes and BBQ Festival: July 21
Get ready to roll out and pig out at the second annual Bikes and BBQ Festival presented by presented by FM News Talk 97.1 and Sauce Magazine! 

See hundreds of motorcycles on display including exotic and custom bikes. Hear amazing live music from local rockers SuperJam and dig into the finest-tasting barbecue prepared by renowned pitmasters from around the region.

The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and concludes at 5:00 p.m.

Beauty and the Beast presented by Alton Little Theater

An Evening of Disney Magic: Aug. 18

Experience "An Evening of Disney Magic: Beloved Characters, Beautiful Music, Dance & Storytelling" with the talented cast of Alton Little Theater at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater Saturday, August 18 at 7 p.m.!
Kevin Frakes, Lee Cox and Dawn Turlington conceived an original script that pays tribute to Disney's most popular theatrical shows and movies. Fifteen of the area's most talented performers are coming together to appear in this production which will serve as Alton Little Theater's Summer Showcase fundraiser.
Twenty four selections from Beauty and the BeastFrozenThe Little MermaidMoanaMary Poppins, The Jungle BookThe Lion KingCinderellaThe Princess and the FrogEnchanted and more will be performed in a two-hour concert with chances for audience participation in numbers like "Let It Go" and "It's A Small World."
There will be a meet-n-greet with characters before the show at 6 p.m. and photo opportunities for parents and grandparents after the show. ALT will have some special Disney merchandise for sale and concessions will be sold by the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.

Sauce Alton Food Truck Festival
The successful Alton Food Truck Festival will return this summer on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater sponsored by Sauce Magazine! The festival begins at 4:00 p.m. and concludes at 8:00 p.m.
This festival features food trucks from around the region offering global street food cuisine. In addition, the Amphitheater's concession team offers beverages of all types to compliment the food truck offerings. Live music will be showcased on the Amphitheaters stage featuring regional band Paint The Earth.
The Alton Food Truck Festival is FREE to the general public. Each food truck will have a different food offering with a range of prices. A special VIP ticket can be purchased for an upgraded experience that includes parking close to the venue and complimentary drink tickets. VIP Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the Alton Visitor Center.

The amphitheater is located at #1 Henry St. in Alton, Ill. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. No coolers allowed. Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Q: What's the difference in VIP, Premium, Pit and General Admission seats?
A: Each concert has designated ticketed areas. Check each concert for ticket information.

Q: Am I allowed to bring in my own beverages/bottles?
A: You are allowed to bring in one, unopened bottle of water per person.

Q: Am I allowed to bring in my own snacks?
A: No. There will be concession stands.

Q: Do children need tickets to enter the concerts?
A: Yes. Only children under 5 are free.

Q: Can I bring my dog or cat?
A: Nope, no pets are allowed. 

Q: When can I enter the Amphitheater?
A: There will be entrances set up at Riverfront Park.

Q: Can I buy tickets in advance?
A: Yes. You can purchase tickets at the Alton Regional CVB (200 Piasa St., Alton), The Fox Theater St. Louis (527 N. Grand Blvd., St. Louis) or online through Each event has a link for ticket sales.

A: There is parking available at Riverfront Park.
