Top Spots to See Halloween Parades
No one knows how to do Halloween like the towns throughout the Great Rivers and Routes region located in Southwestern Illinois, minutes from St. Louis.

Six different parades will be held at the end of October including the historic and long running Alton Halloween Parade which will step off for its 102nd season Oct. 31.
Don't miss these parades:
Oct. 29: Bethalto Halloween Parade starting at 6:15 p.m.
Oct. 27: Wood River Halloween Parade starting at 10:30 a.m.
Oct. 27: Jerseyville Halloween Parade starting at 11:30 a.m.
Oct. 27: Carlinville Halloween Parade starting at 6:15 p.m.
Oct. 29: East Alton Halloween Parade starting at 7 p.m.
Oct. 31: Edwardsville Halloween Parade starting at 6:30 p.m.
The granddaddy of them all, the Alton Halloween Parade will be held Oct. 31 starting at 7:30 p.m. Join Bluff City Grill's Halloween Parade Celebration to score a great spot to watch the parade while enjoying their special event menu served outside.
Get Ready to Trick-or-Treat
Annual Trick-or-Treating will be held on the following days throughout the region:
Collinsville: Oct. 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Carlinville: Oct. 30 & 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Alton: Oct. 30 & 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Bethalto: Oct. 30 & 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.
East Alton: Oct. 30 & 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Wood River: Oct. 30 & 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Edwardsville: Oct. 30 & 31 from Noon to 9 p.m.
Glen Carbon: Oct. 30 & 31 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Jerseyville: Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Roxana: Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.
