FALL COLOR UPDATE

Date:  11-3-09

Even though the colors have peaked and the leaves are beginning to fall, there is still plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of autumn. Plan to spend next weekend outside to enjoy the last colors of the season! Take a hike through Pere Marquette State Park and listen to the leaves crunch under your feet. Or take a ride down the Sam Vadalabene Bike Trail and kick up the leaves behind you as you fly by. No matter what you decide, take the time to enjoy the rest of the beautiful fall weather.

Check out our list of outdoor recreation and cycling & hiking choices to plan your weekend throughout the trails all around Alton.
